On the morning of 22nd August, 2016, at the Lecture Hall, the Senior High Department of Anqing Foreign Language School observed the grand opening ceremony of military training for new students starting their new semester in September 2016. The ceremony was attended by President Madam Huang Wenli, Vice Principal Liu Bing, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong, Senior High Directors Xu Zuitai, Xu Haihong& Cao Siqing, drillmasters from Municipal Armed Police Detachment as well as all teachers& students in Grade 10. The grand event was chaired by Director Xu Haihong.
In the first place, the ceremony kicked off with the resonant national anthem. Student representative Wu Xian expressed that she would follow commanders’ orders and abide by school regulations& disciplines to fulfill military training tasks remarkably.
In the second place, instructor representative Tao Qiang with Municipal People’s Armed Police stated that Anqing Foreign Language School is a big family with a beautiful campus, fabulous teachers, outstanding students and incredible teaching quality, which makes her a cradle to future college students-to-be. He demanded that all students should obey officers’ instructions, reinforce their sense of organizational discipline and make jointed effort to complete the military training mission satisfactorily.
In the third place, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong requested students to learn from instructors’ excellent qualities. Also, he put forward strict requirements for students in terms of their training tasks and campus life as well.
More noticeably, President Madam Huang Wenli issued the mobilization report in which Madam President hoped students would cultivate strong will, cast tenacious quality, carry forward the spirit of ‘Fearing neither hardship nor tiredness’, strengthen their conviction and promote ego in the following five-day training session. Only in this way can students achieve the objectives of this military training and lay a solid foundation for their future life& studies.
To sum up, the splendid performance of students in the opening ceremony won school leaders’ constant approval. All students agreed that they were determined to observe discipline in the training practice, follow arrangements from Anqing Foreign Language School, actively forge ahead and make united efforts to prove themselves with practical action!
